One thing VR let’s you do is put yourself into worlds and situations you would not hope to find yourself in. Naked Sun will take you to 2232 in the often visited futuristic idea of man vs machine, an idea that has been visited in titles like Robo Recall. The question is does Naked Sun offer something different?
I take a look at my top five upcoming VR releases due out in August 2018. This is based across Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Playstation VR and Windws Mixed Reality, and just shows the trailers of the games.
I had become very much invested in VR gaming when they released Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, so never got around to playing it due to my struggles playing pancake/flat games. I was chuffed to see them announce the VR update for the PC version of the game. So, let’s take a look at the opening of the game through the HTC Vive.
Survios the team that has brought two exceptional games in Raw Data and Sprint Vector to VR, have now taken a step into allowing you to create music within VR, with their new title Electronauts. Personally I would not look at this release as a game but more of an application or creation tool. But, does it hit the high notes or disappear into distance like one hit wonders?
