I take a look at my top five upcoming VR releases due out in June 2018. This is based across Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Playstation VR and Windws Mixed Reality, and just shows the trailers of the games.
I personally like it when developers try out new ideas with the VR medium, and try to avoid some of the clichés that come with VR genres. Well this is what the team MadAboutGamesStudios have tried to do with their game Reficul, but does it do it successfully?
The team over at CBILAB Studios have been kind enough to provide me a very early look at a demo of their upcoming VR title ManMade. What are my impressions after the first look?
I used to love my Mecha games, with a lot of my time at the beginning of the Xbox 360 era being spent playing FromSoftware’s criminally under-rated Chromehounds. A few Mecha games have come to the VR medium but for me they have all fallen short. Smelly River have now brought Code 51: Mecha Arena to PSVR, but does it bring the Mecha game I was hoping for?
