Pixel Ripped 1989 is finally in our hands, a game I have been waiting to get my hands on for a while now (over a year to be precise). With the idea of playing a handheld console taking me back to my childhood years of the original Gameboy, the question is did this bring back the fond memories I had or make me think it was best left off in past?
I can always remember the trailer for Detached where everyone was saying it was like being in space, and this is when the game was in Early Access on the PC. The game has now made the move over to PlayStation VR, but does it really have that WOW factor?
I have finally got my adaptor and cable for recording sound for the Oculus Go, and the 360 video has had a lot of good things said about it. So, I thought I would play it and bring it to my channel.
When I visited EGX Rezzed back in April this year I stopped by Coatsink and tried out Augmented Empire. While there I asked about this coming to Oculus Rift, and the team informed it would only be mobile based. Which I thought was a shame, as I did not plan to invest in mobile VR. But, now I have the Oculus Go, what did I think after more time with the game?
